 По всему миру работают штайнеровские, или вальдорфские, детские сады и школы. В них воспитатели и учителя стремятся воплотить принципы штайнеровской педагогики в наиболее полном виде. Основатель этой педагогики - Рудольф Штайнер, а первая Вальдорфская школа возникла в Германии в 1919 г. Сегодня размах вальдорфского движения огромен. В мире существует около 950 признанных независимых вальдорфских школ и 1400 вальдорфских детских садиков. Давно признано, что эта методика достаточно эффективна для воспитания детей. Основной принцип вальдорфской школы - свободное развитие ребенка, а основной закон педагогов - уважение к личности ребенка.
Мы побывали в одном из вальдорофских садиков в г. Вильнюс, Литва. Это отдельный сказочный мир. Уютный домик расположен в живописном месте среди елок и сосен.

 14th of February, St.Valentine's Day is a day to spent in a romantic atmosphere with your beloved, sharing small presents and Valentine cards.
Still a group of volunteers have chosen another way of spending this weekend. We went to our friends who live an orphanage located in a godforsaken cornerin Belarus: village Kalinovka.
Only on arrivals volunteers realized how longwaited and welcomed they are especially in that very day. Each child has already prepared his Valentine's card and was excitingly choosing who to present it. In our turn we've brought them presents from UK that were available thanks to NGO "Help and Development" and their partner organisations.

 One more ward in a Borisov orphanage for small kids was modernized with a new waterproof matrasses and pillows.
"It was very difficult to decide award of which children to re-equip, - Head Doctor Mrs Djatko says, - as today in our orpnange live 137 kids that make up 10 groups. The choice was complicated as every child needs comfort." Thnaks to the sets recieved the work of personnel will be facilitated as matrassess and pillows are very easy to clean. Also dissaperes constant need for desinfection and use of oilcloth and nappies |

New Year Performances in Orphanages |

 Thanks to a strong volunteer initiative we've managed to arrange a magic new-year performance for the children from three belarussinas orphanages.The scenario of the performance was developed by the joint volunteers' forces. Volunteers themselves sow the costumes, made decorations, collected presents, baked sweatmeals. The preparation took more than a month. And the performance was a suuccess: it included so many surprises starting from Ded Moroz (Santa Claus), Snow Maiden, Huge Bubbles, Magiciens, Stilt-walkers, Magic Birds, Autumn, Summer, Spring, Evil Witch (Bjaka).
